About Adaptation Scotland

Adaptation Scotland is an initiative that brings together stakeholders in Scotland to collectively address and prepare for the impacts of climate change.

Adaptation Scotland (formerly the Scottish Climate Change Imapcts Partnership) was established to “increase the resilience of organisations and infrastructure in Scotland to meet the challenges and opportunities presented by the impacts of climate change”.

Adaptation Scotland aims to support Scotland in addressing the challenge of climate change. It endeavours to do this by:

  • Supporting policy framework implementation;
  • Providing adaptation planning support for organisations and communities;
  • Delivering adaptation skills training to help build capacity;
  • A gateway for adaptation information in Scotland; and
  • Providing technical support on the application of the UK Climate Projections and other key information.
