Local Climate Impacts Profile (LCLIP)

LCLIP is a tool developed by the UK Climate Impacts Programme (UKCIP) designed to help organisations to explore the impacts and consequences of recent past weather events.

The first Scottish LCLIP projects we undertaken in 2008 and since then this tool has been used widely by local authorities and other public sector organisations.

Adaptation Scotland has created an interactive map to provide access to information about completed LCLIP projects and national resources, view the map here

Ongoing work

Adaptation Scotland's Climate Change Adaptation Workbook considers how the LCLIP tool can be used as part of a phased and planned approach to building resilience to the impacts of climate change, view the adaptation workbook here

The adaptation tools section of the website includes a wide range of advice and information about LCLIP projects.
