Scottish Compendium of UKCP09 Climate Change Information
Adaptation Scotland has compiled a supplementary compendium of UKCP09 outputs specific to Scotland. It is not intended to be a comprehensive source of outputs, but instead comprises a limited selection of maps and tables extracted from the UKCP09 User Interface. These provide easy access to some key climate variables, time periods, and locations in Scotland.
The intention is that Adaptation Scotland will continue to develop the compendium as a resource for Scottish climate information. However, the UKCP09 User Interface is the definitive source for the most up-to-date climate information and Adaptation Scotland would like to encourage users to become familiar with this resource.
At present the Adaptation Scotland Scottish Compendium consists of:
- Scotland UKCP09 Maps v1.0 – a selection of maps of change in mean precipitation and temperature for Scotland
- Scotland UKCP09 Tables v1.0 – a selection of data extracted for the Scottish climate ‘regions’
If you have any questions about the Scottish Compendium, or would like to discuss obtaining customised data from UKCP09 please contact Joseph Hagg.
