Scotland: Projections in Practice Events January 2010

Following on from a successful week of events in November two further events were held in January, one specifically for the Health, Wellbeing, Emergency & Rescue Services sector held in Edinburgh and one in Inverness in partnership with The Highland Council.

These events took place on 26 and 27 January and were attended by approximately 60 people.

The events provided initial guidance to enable attendees to start using the UKCP09 climate projections and have kick-started a process which will help establish a UKCP09 user community in Scotland and SCCIP will continue to provide support to users.

Many thanks to all those who attended the events. The presentations are now available to download below. Those presentations common to both are listed first. Videos of the presentations from the Highland Projections in Practice event, held in Inverness on 27 January, are now available to view here.
