UC4A Mainstreaming of climate change risk assessment

Your organisation routinely undertakes strategic and project-level climate change risk assessment, as appropriate within a wider risk management framework (i.e. not just climate). You will ensure that there is senior ownership of key risks and that these are effectively - and creatively - communicated within your organisation.

Sub tasks:

Develop training and guidance on climate risk assessment for your organisation and use these resources to help implement a standardised process for systematic assessment and management of climate risks.

Put reporting processes in place to regularly review and feedback on climate risk assessments and management responses.

Work with climate champions (Task OC2B, OC3B and OC4B) to ensure that climate risk assessments are visible within your organisation and used to inform and influence decision making.
