Embedding climate change adaptation on corporate risk registers with Stirling Council

Adaptation Scotland helped Stirling Council take account of climate change impacts in its corporate risk register, ensuring the risks posed by climate change are considered at key decision points.

Stirling Council has included “Failure to comply with the adaptation requirement of the Climate Change (Scotland) Act 2009” on its Corporate Risk Register. This case study looks at the steps the Council took to include the risk and the benefits of the approach.
